Dentistry is classed as an essential service, which is why we have remained open as normal for all dental services including examinations, planned treatments, hygiene visits, sedation visits, as well as emergencies.
You may notice some changes since your last visit to the practice such as:
The reception team will go through everything over the phone with you prior to your appointment.
They will also gently remind you of the following:
If you or any member of your household have COVID symptoms and have an appointment booked, please contact the practice for advice.
Because of the nature of our profession and particularly the use of AGP’s in Dentistry, we have to act and follow the Government’s advice and follow the regulations imposed upon us by our regulatory bodies. We have tried to minimise changes as much as possible and only when needed. As soon as we are advised it is safe to do so by the Government, or the Chief Dental Officer of England, we will be able to and aim to, revert back to normal as soon as dental restrictions are lifted.
In the meantime, thank you for your patience and understanding and we look forward to being of service in the near future to all our patients for exams, hygiene and routine dentistry. Please call the practice if you have any outstanding treatment that needs completing, a dental emergency or an overdue check-up or hygienist appointment.
