Our prices and schemes are competitive. This is to ensure that should a patient want to receive treatment from us then we have the means to do so whether that be NHS (provided they are already registered with us), Independently or Privately.
So what are the different schemes?
NHS Dental Scheme
The NHS Scheme provides clinically necessary treatment needed to keep your mouth, teeth and gums healthy.
Decisions about which treatment is appropriate will be based on your dentist’s assessment and clinical judgement.
Your dentist will make clear which treatments can be provided on the NHS and which can only be provided privately, and the costs associated for each. Everyone is entitled to NHS treatment and expected to pay for it unless exempt i.e. Under 18, on Pension Credit Guarantee etc (Please see down below for more information)
Independent Fee
Your Options When Our NHS Books Are Full
If our NHS patient books are currently full, you may have the option to join the practice on an independent basis. This means you can receive the same standard of clinical care and treatment that would be provided under NHS care, but the cost of that care is not subsidised by the NHS.
Treatment will be provided in line with the appropriate NHS treatment standards, with fees based on the corresponding NHS charges for the treatment required. However, as an independent patient, you would be responsible for paying these fees, including if you would normally qualify for free or subsidised NHS dental treatment.
We will always explain the recommended treatment and associated fees clearly before proceeding, so you can make an informed decision about your care.
Private Treatment Fee
Clear, transparent pricing for your dental care.
Some treatments may be provided on a private basis where they are not available under NHS funding, fall outside the scope of NHS treatment, or where you choose an alternative private treatment option.
This may include certain cosmetic or restorative treatments, or different materials and techniques.
Before any private treatment begins, we will discuss your options with you and provide a clear estimate of the fees involved and require signatures on proposed treatments. Our team will ensure you understand the recommended treatment, available alternatives and associated costs, so you can make an informed decision about your care.
